The maps were also built over the four quarters of the time period. These layers are provided with the suffixes Q1 to Q4. The SST trend maps show the increasing or decreasing trend of SST over the selected time period. Il pacchetto di mappe delle temperature superficiali del mare (SST) è stato costruito con dati giornalieri medi ad alta risoluzione (0.01 gradi) raccolti da remoto tra il 2008 ed il 2020. Le mappe sono state costruite anche sui quattro trimestri dell’intero periodo. Queste ultime presentano suffissi che vanno da Q1 a Q4. Le mappe dei trend mostrano la tendenza all’aumento o alla diminuzione di SST sul periodo selezionato. I raster sono stati costruiti nel software statistico R utilizzando dati open-source scaricati da Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (https://resources.marine.copernicus.eu/?option=com_csw&task=results). I file netCDF sono stati convertiti in array tridimensionali (longitudine, latitudine e tempo) e rianalizzati in modo da estrarre il valore di trend di ciascun pixel durante l'intero periodo temporale e durante ciascun trimestre del periodo temporale. Il trend è stato calcolato utilizzando una regressione lineare con dati aggregati per anno.
