Statement

SZN collects all information regarding the strandings and sightings of dead or alive marine turtles in the Campania Region. Data a reported through a collaborative network and by the locally competent coast guards offices. Positions of strandings are taken on site with GPS devices/apps or are identified through google maps. When the exact location of stranding is not known, the central point on the coast of the municipality, where the specimen was found, is used.
